Objective – Haryana Ambedkar Scholarship Scheme 2024
The Haryana government launched the Haryana Ambedkar Scholarship Scheme with a social cause i.e equality and balance in education. The goal of this scheme is to support the selected students financially till the course completion.
Every year, SC and BC students can get up to Rs. 12,000 as a financial help under the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra Samvidhi Yojana. According to this scheme, a student who passes the tenth grade must receive 70 percent of their marks in urban areas and 60 percent in rural areas; in the twelfth grade, they must receive 75 percent of their marks in urban areas and 70 percent in rural areas; and upon graduation, they must receive 65 percent of their marks in urban areas and 60 percent in rural areas.

- The student needs to live in Haryana.
- In order to be eligible for this award, applicants must receive 65% in urban regions and 60% in rural areas in the graduation exam.
- The candidate must apply for regular education in order to be eligible for this grant.
- Students must be enrolled in government schools, colleges, institutes, or universities in order to be eligible for this scholarship program.
- Candidates must also present their SC and OBC certificates along with application.
- The applicant’s household income cannot exceed Rs 4 lakh annually in order to be eligible for this scheme.
- Children from Haryana Board affiliated government schools are also eligible to apply for this grant.
- Students enrolled in private and state colleges in Haryana may apply online.
- The applicant must be a member of the Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Scheduled Caste (SC).
- SC/ST candidate’s annual family income from all sources shall not above Rs. 4 Lakh (4,00,000/-).
