Rythu Runa Mafi Scheme also known as Farm Loan Waiver Scheme or Crop Loan Waiver scheme is intended to support farmers who had taken farm loans from the banks by submitting land ownership documents to manage agricultural activities.
The scheme provides a helping hand to the farmers in the form of financial assistance who are unable to repay the farm loans by waiving them off up to 2 lakh rupees. There is no specific process to apply for Rythu Runa Mafi for the farmers. Government officials collect the information from commercial banks, Grameena banks(Rural banks), PACS and DCCB banks officials directly. According to the scheme guidelines eligible farmers will be selected and the amount transferred to farmer’s bank accounts directly.

Disbursement Process For the Rythu Runa Mafi Scheme
The loan amount is transferred to farmers accounts in 3 phases. In first phase, loan amount up to 1 lakh was released to farmers account, up to 1.5 lakh was transferred in second phase, and tp to 2 lakh loan, was transferred in third phase.

What is Rythu Runa Mafi App
Government of Telangana designed a mobile app with the help of mobile app developers to collect the information of farmers who did not receive the loan waiver up to 2 lakh. This app is developed to address the grievances raised by farmers who had not received the loan waiver.
Government is has come up with the solution with a mobile app to collect the farmer details and actual eligible farmers information by the mandal level officers in their respective areas. This app is available to mandal level and district level agriculture officers to record the information based on complaints received by farmers.
Agriculture department officials want to do the runa mafi survey with the help of this app. So officials go to each and every farmer’s house to collect the information.
Why I have Not Received Rythu Runa Mafi
There are a number of reasons for not receiving the Rythu Runa Mafi. There are wrong entries of Aadhaar information of 1,24,545 farmers. Officials corrected data of approximately 41322 farmer’s bank accounts till now. Runa mafi was released for them immediately. After the survey all of the eligible farmers will receive Rythu Runa Mafi.
