Who May Apply For Umbrella Scholarship?
In order to continue their education, the student who recently passed the the tenth grade, and has taken the admission for eleventh grade. They must meet the requirements for the ST category to become eligible for this Umbrella Scholarship Scheme. They can only submit the application for it, others are not eligible.

Benefits of Umbrella Scheme Scholarship
With the Umbrella Scheme Scholarship, the Gujarat government offers financial aid to students in a number of ways, including registration/enrollment, education, sports, union, library, monthly tests, medical exams, and reimbursement of tuition to universities, boards, or other institutions. Scholarships for study tours up to Rs. 1,600 are awarded to students annually.
With the Umbrella Scheme Scholarship, the Gujarat government offers cash assistance to students in a number of ways. Including registration or enrollment, education, sports, library, monthly tests, medical examinations, magazine, and also reimbursement of tuition fee to universities, boards, or other institutions.
Scholarship amount for study tours up to 1600 rupees are given to students annually.
Certain areas of study have scholarships available to students up to Rs. 1,600 for the typing and publishing of theses for research researchers. Hostel students are entitled to a monthly scholarship of 1,200/- and 550/-. In addition, they receive an annual stipend of Rs. 1,200/-for books and school supplies.

Eligibility For The Gujarat Umbrella Scheme
- The requirements for each scholarship may be different. But if you meet the required conditions, you will be the one of the students who benefits from the Umbrella Scheme. Student must be Gujarat resident in order to be eligible for the Umbrella scholarship Scheme.
- The student must fall under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
- The total amount of annual income of your family from all of the sources should not surpass 2,50,000 rupees.
- Students who have finished their tenth grade and currently taken admission for the 11th grade can apply for this scheme.
- The scholarship can not be given to a student more than once in the same class. For example, a student’s application will not be considered or rejected if they apply again for the same year after receiving the scholarship in the eleventh grade.

- To apply for this scholarship, you have the option of online application. To apply for this scholarship, visit the Gujarat government’s official website at www.digitalgujarat.gov.in.
- Log in if you already have a user name and password. If not, register again by clicking the new registration option.
- The candidates should now use their new user ID and password to check in to the Digital Gujarat Scholarship Portal if they have received them.
- Select the scholarship you wish to apply for, then begin the application process.
- Complete the application form with out any mistakes, then upload the required files. The application will be canceled if any information is found to be wrong.
- Once the information is filled out, check the application once more before submitting it.
Important Dates for Umbrella Scholarship
The scholarship scheme’s application form is now accessible. Students will have to submit the application before last date of August 31st 2024 for the umbrella scholarship.
Selection Process For Gujarat’s Umbrella Scholarship in 2024
Based on how well they performed on the prior exam, students will be chosen to receive this grant. How many scholarships are given to students will depend on the basis of funds availability.
